My No-Bake Cheesecake :)

We made a giant cheesecake yesterday :) And what a tasty treat it was this afternoon! Definitely recommend it for an easy no-bake desert ;) Recipe from here. We've slightly changed it as we did not have any oranges. And we used a different kind of biscuits for base. But nevertheless it was a heavenly light, moist and tasty desert :)

Another great idea for kid's room!

Well, I was browsing through the net as usual for some good ideas and came across this!

What a great way to bring some fun and simple games into your child's room! All you need is a bit of patience with your needle work and what ever the weather, your child can play hopscotch :)

Shoe Boxes for Kids

What a great idea I came across! Why do we need to buy expensive kid's toys to build cities and towns, when we've got shoe boxes! :D Must not throw them away! Just spray them white and it's a canvas for your imagination ;)

Yesteryears :)

Yesterday we went to a venue to commemorate a birthday of Lithuania's first president. What a wonderful place and atmosphere it was! Everyone was invited to come in original 1940s style clothes and join in the party. I was sad to see that there weren't as many Vintage lovers there as I expected. But nevertheless we enjoyed it very much :)

Feels a Bit Autumn Like..

The weather has suddenly gone cold. I don't remember August feeling so Autumn like ever in my life. Had to get our warm coats and jackets out even though summer is not near its' end yet. There's one thing for sure though, Mimi doesn't care what weather is outside, she loooves being outdoors :) Just put on warmer clothes and don't grumble Mama :)

Learnt a new trick :D I think she might be looking at the future of being ballet dancer :D

Summer fun in a pool!

Bubble Fun :)

Last weekend me and Mimi participated in an ongoing event. It's a day that everyone through out Lithuania meet up to blow some bubbles! I think now it has spread to London, where a lot of Lithuanians live. And I must say - what a great way to spend afternoon. There weren't many of us. But both me and my little girl enjoyed it very much :)

They Joys of Earth

Yesterday was one of those great summer days, when sun is not too hot, but warm enough to wear light clothes and have some fun in the garden. My brother had a task of digging some potatoes up for lunch and my little girl decided to join in :) Picking potatoes from damp soil, putting them into basket and then washing them in the pond. I loooved watching her familiarizing herself with all that's natural.

And a little reward after hard work - ice-cream with raspberries yum yum yum!

Hippie Mood :)

Yesterday we went out to a fair in town and for some reason I've been feeling very hippie-like recently. So I got out the very perfect dress for my mood :) This 'made in india' dress is a second hand treasure, but for a looong time I would not dare to wear it. And yesterday I was in a perfect mood for it. Here it is - a hippie beauty :)

Rediscovered

Few days ago I decided to start writing a blog. And guess what? I already got one :D I completely forgot about this. It's a bit like finding some money in a pocket of old trousers you've just put on. Smooth it out and it's as good as new :) So I think instead of creating a new one I'll just continue with this one. Looking forward to it :)

P.S. Our miracle from the last post (over a year ago!) has arrived :) A pretty little girl, who's now a year and a half old :)
